Morris Merchant-518 - Dune Jumper
A prototype made by Morris Merchant Industries decades ago, what this spacecraft lacks in aesthetics, firepower, and maneuverability, it excels in durability and speed. The necessity to replace parts on this spacecraft is a rarity. Additionally, it can enter a variety of atmospheres, keeping the pilot safe and comfortable. The hyper drive is often touted as one of the best developed for its time giving it the ability to outrun many of its more modern counterparts. Sub-light engines outside of hyper speed are not fast, making it imperative for pilots to make quick calculations if they wish to make their escape. The thick armor plating makes it a tough beast to break, even after getting past its energy shield.
Tauros F-1
Well known for being breakdown prone, the Tauros F-1 was originally designed to be a military atmospheric fighter for the Old Republic. During the civil war with Maldonis, the plane was pushed out quickly. Soon, the casualties from accidents began to outnumber the combat casualties, causing pilots to hate the craft. A private seller bought 3 and has made them space capable. The seller claims to have worked out the kinks, so long as one doesn't mind a bit of light turbulence during atmospheric exit and re-entry...
Singer Space Designs - Newton
Widely regarded as one of the best citizen single-seater craft available for the price, the Newton has a rather simple design. It is not built to be agile, but rather for solid all around speed and comfort for the pilot. It's electronics and autopilot are solid, and with it's full sized bed it can be comfortable for long journeys for a lone pilot and perhaps a single passenger. Like it's competitors, it does not suffer from the atmospheric re-entry issues the plague the _________. It's flight speed and hyper drive won't outrun it's higher priced counterparts, but it can keep up with nearly any other ship in it's class. This particular model is being resold by a private seller who is looking to upgrade.
The Sepia
A mixed Motorized-Sailor craft, the Sepia was made by a private seller named Vincent Maven. Its small cockpit, single seat, and lack of a cabin make it undesirable for long journeys. That said, it is not, technically, incapable. It could be fitted for a hyper drive, but it is capable of reaching half-light speed with it's sail and afterburners at full capacity even without one.
Messer Mk II
Once a Republican Precision Bomber, this Messer Mk II was bought by a drifter named Delian Pavillar. The ship is certainly lived in, but is in good condition with all of its functions and armament intact. That is, apart from the bombs it was once capable of holding. As the bomb bay was repurposed for cargo and to extend the cabin for comfort.
M-21 Tyger
Once a military craft, this M-21 Tyger has been repurposed for civilian use. It boasts a decent cargo hold, a comfortable cabin, and capable speed, maneuverability, and armament to defend itself. That said, the craft is currently in need of repairs having it's left engine and rear gunner position damaged by a band of Korpathi Junkers who tried desperately to bring it down and scrap it for parts.
Streamliner - Concordia
A prototype of the now, out of business, Streamliner Corporation, the Concordia was thrown to the wayside during the production phase. Only eight were made in total, each with slightly different specifications as the company attempted to make a fast ship for ferrying commercial passengers. The Concordia project was defunded and the spacecraft were sold for a fraction of what they were worth to collectors and private sellers. Nowadays they are known to be above average ships, causing their price to rise as many now know of their unfortunate history.
Morris Merchant - Malakai
Morris Merchant tried their hand at creating military craft. Originally designed to be a reconnaissance craft that was inter-sector capable the Malakai is definitely that. However, the vessels lack of stealth capabilities, thus deemed high risk fighters could be scrambled to intercept. The one and only prototype made was bought by a private investigator named Melina Zathiros. Putting its state of the art radar to good use for decades. The ship will be up for auction in 3 weeks time at the station in orbit around Jorris-2.
The Toad-Stower
Famous, for long ago rescuing a group of Bragadoshi from Skrykthe captivity, the ship got its nickname. A rather uncouth nickname, by today's standards, as the term Toad is rather derogatory. Yet, many still refer to it as such due to it's large forward vents that, some say, resemble the mouth of a toad.
The Svalgar-6 - Spice Runner
The ship is on market by an unknown seller who wishes to remain anonymous. Rumor has it, the man is a very successful smuggler who made a fortune using this ship to smuggle spice among sectors. with an astounding 9 engines, it is easily one of the fastest ships in the galaxy. The interior is bare bones, stripped of anything unnecessary for speed. A single cot still sits in the otherwise empty quarters, leaving room to store extra cargo should one wish.
T-21 Turtleback.
Latches on it's heavily armored cannopy allow this ship to hang from top docks. Providing more access for the vessel to stay in port. The armor on it's upper portion it is even said to occasionally stop direct hits from explosives. Once used as a small bomber by the Old Republic, the vessel is a dinosaur, by military standards. For civilian purposes, it still has a lot of perks that has caused a resurgence of it's popularity for private purchase and use.
The Sturdy Bird
Built from the hulls of 2 separate ships and combined into one, the Sturdy Bird is, by no means a pretty ship. However, she lives up to her name. Capable armor plates allow the vessel to withstand a large amount of punishment. The seller even claims to have rammed into a Capitol ship without getting so much as a scratch.
The Sien Gathari
The Sien Gathari was built by an old widower, Kadin Gathari. A Neo Babylonion, turned Republican, he has long since retired from his trade. Now rusted over, this ship's frame hides the internal workings of a machine crafted with skill and care. Often overlooked by buyers who believe the price is too steep, perhaps this ship is more than meets the eye...
C-2C "Emery"
Once a cargo runner in the old republic fleet, this ship has been stripped and decommissioned as a civilian vessel. While, not an eye catcher to youngsters, many who have studied or are old enough to remember this model's performance in the Republican civil war would remember it as very capable, reliable vessel. With plenty of cargo space, or the capability to convert the locker into a living quarters.
The Lucienne
Once a vessel belonging to a Republican politician, the Lucienne is equipped for comfort and class. Fine finishings throughout allow for an elegance, few experience in space faring vessels. Its price point, while steep is well below what may be expected for such a luxurious craft. A testament to many who hold a superstition that the vessel is cursed, as each prior owner has been murdered within its hull.
HF-118 Kainen
A converted tandem interceptor, the HF-118 Kainen was the shining jewel of the Old Republic. Its speed, unmatched by most modern craft, it possesses a unique modification which allows intake valves to temporarily boost the ship's speed. While it's fittings for missiles have been removed, it still houses a forward facing Vulcan Rotary Cannon.
AG-7 Kite
Designed by Hiro Innovations, the AG-7 Kite, is the sports car of the stars. Capable of hosting a single individual, they were designed to be a fast delivery system chaufering their pilots from planet to planet with little delay.
