Esvar

Esvar. A dying planet, believed to resemble its cousin, Eregar, in its youth. A rocky, sandy, dusty place, still home to many souls who reside there. The oxygen depleted, dust filled air is barely breathable without ventilation and filtration systems. Frequent and dangerous sand storms ravage the bleak landscape at will.  They often sweep away unwary souls, leaving them buried where they land.

Clifftop Colony

The second largest colony on the planet, built atop a small plateau with a bridge connecting both sides of the settlement. Not the largest city on the planet, it holds a small starport which garners it a fair amount of interplanetary traffic.

Jibranthar

The ruins of the old city of Jibranthar still hold life to the largest population of any colony on the planet. Ancient meets modern in this old place. The resurgence of the population came back after humans developed cleaning facilities for that were able to filter out the toxins and dust that riddle the ice caps on the southern side of Esvar. Now mined, filtered, and exported throughout the system. Still much of the outskirts are abandoned, holding treasures and monuments sacred to many people, some of which are sought after still by many who wish to call this place their own.

Oldroot

Oldroot is named for its two natural features. First, the only plants left on Esvar live in this place, though scientists believe they are slowly withering away due to the dying planet's climate. Second, the giant rock formations themselves look like roots stretching for miles in every direction.

outpost TE-26

Originally a science facility where archaeologists, botanists, and geologists could study the planet, it has since turned into a settlement.  Home to a few thousand people who live within the mountain, it is still the scientific hub of the planet hosting dozens of experiments on any given day. Perhaps, one day the studies here will be the saving grace of other planets and halt the fate time brings to all living things.

red Barrens

A vast red waste, home to dusters and little else. Most who venture into its vast abyss never return. So vast and dangerous is this wasteland, that many simply take the time to go around when crossing from one side of the planet to the other.

Amid Al Agawa

A fortress settlement built to spearhead the Neo Babylonian invasion of Esvar.  Built under the guise of a trading post turned city it has grown rapidly in recent years. Already housing a population larger than any city in Esvar, it is set to become a staple of the planet going forward, whether the Babylonians are successful in their military endeavors or not.

Lower Dryfalls of Yassina

Coming from some deep chasm, sand falls of the stones of a temple so ancient, the people's who built it are unknown. Some believe they are the first people of Esvar itself, who lived in this place long before humans, or any other species arrived here.

Mekkli Nan'ahman

Mekkli Nan'Ahman, is a town known to be sympathetic to Bongdu Sandreavers.  Slavers and pirates who terrorize the peaceful and free peoples of Esvar. Widely avoided by most humans, it is home to the largest population of Skrykthe on the planet.

The Forest of Thorns

Not a forest at all, but a vast landscape of jagged, thorn-like rocks that jut up from the ground this way and that. Some of these rock formations are so long and thin, they look like large trees, or branches from afar. Without the luxury of mountains for miles in any direction, the forest it is often beaten by violent sandstorms. So often does this occur that many geologists believe the "forest" will erode away within the next millenia.

Mud gutter

The town of Mud Gutter is built in the hull of a large downed battleship called The Escorial, which was downed in the battle of Jibranthar. Once a bandit town, its inhabitants raided nearby villages growing quite wealthy and, eventually, becoming overly successful to the point that they killed the economies of the other towns in the area. Soon the innocent people were forced to assimilate. Next, the bandits began stealing from each other but, living in such close proximity, they soon found that stealing from one person would directly affect the entire group. The town now thrives, growing every year, even constructing buildings outside of the hull within the past few decades.
