getting started

Welcome to Sentarin-3, a Sci-fi story set to the system of 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons. We of course do not claim ownership of the system, much of what has been brought to you is from the masters of the game and a number of homebrews bent to work within a discord server setting. There are a number of things which for the sake of the format have been changed to suit our needs, and homebrewed with the hope we have created a fair and balanced system of play.  This includes all artwork utilized on the page, of which, we claim do not claim any rights.

CHARACTER CREATION

To begin your character sheet, you will pick a race, one background, and one class (note we do not allow multiclassing at this time). Each player will utilize Standard Array, a set of numbers which they can implement into the six base ability trees.  Each player will start with 16, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8, which can be designated into the Ability Score slot they see fit.

Example:  Con: 14, Str: 16, Dex: 13, Int: 12, Wis: 8, Cha: 10. Any bonuses you get from your race can be added to these numbers after you have assigned them.

You will then select a race, each with a set of bonus attributes for you to add into these above scores. Next you will select a background and class.

When you have selected each of these things you can move onto purchasing equipment for your character. Each character is allotted a flat rate of 2,000 credits, along with whatever bonus money you gain from your background.

Please note that the administrators of the storyline will be helping you to create the character sheet required for the system. And a copy will be published on the website, along with the discord for you to browse only.

Please note that the administrators or moderators will get with you after you have submitted an application to create a character sheet with you. You will then be provided a link to the sheet to browse. We will not be allowing players to handle their own sheets.

PETS AND COMPANIONS
While it is fine to start your character off with a pet or a droids, these must not add mechanical value within the game itself, unless explicitly stated by the class you chose.  Animals and droids, however, be purchased to add mechanical value via credits or Matterkey.  Though these will, likely, be limited to one mechanically viable companion per player.
