Brymerian's are an extremely proud people. Not so long ago, did their Empire extend across many of the Sentarin Systems. Brymerians believe that one's roots and traditions should be upheld. Naturally, this has caused dissent among many who disagree with the Brymerian view on eugenics and incest. Now, more-so than ever, the Brymerians keep to themselves. Rarely venturing from their nearby systems in force, unless they believe themselves to be in jeopardy.
PEOPLE & Culture
Brymerians are exclusively Ivor Elythrin. They tend to be a bit shorter than most other humans, however, the discrepancy is only by about 2-3 inches, on average. This is believed to be due to a large amount of incestuous habits that lie inherent within the culture. The primary language spoken in Brymeria is Elysin.
Brymerian culture has a heavy emphasis on family, lineage, and tradition. Marriages are still often arranged among well to do families. In Brymerian culture, to be pale is to be beautiful. So obsessed are Brymerians with the idea of purity, that some even dye their eyes white. this is seen as a mark of high social standing, as the process is expensive. To them gold signifies royalty, all Brymerians believe themselves do be the descendants of an ancient Emperor. Food and drink play a prevalent role in Brymerian society. Great feasts and social gatherings with extravagant costumes and decorations, bring citizens from far and wide. It is said by others, that these events are now being pushed more often out of necessity, due to a violent decrease in Brymerian fertility rates. ​
MILITARY & Fleet
Reflective of their cultural traditions, Brymerian armor tends to be as extravagant as it is functional. Many outsiders would refer to both Brymerian culture and their military as outdated. That said, Brymerian's will to endure seems to trump all those who wish to seek their end. A focus on individuals at home, and the collective on all other fronts means that many soldiers are often willing to sacrifice their lives for the good of the Brymeria. Brymerians pilot's fearlessness, combined with their skill have made them some of the most revered dogfighters among the stars. Often, taking fights at odds and coming out the victor. ​
